Hi MJDenver! I'm on R1P2VLCD4 and down 7.1 lbs. Sounds like you're doing great so far! Too bad about the cheat, but I betcha you learned your lesson on that one! ;) I'm hoping I can get through P2 without a massive cheat! We'll have to see. Usually I have about 0 willpower. You've still had such great losses though~! Keep up the great work.

I'm trying to stay away from ESPECIALLY aspartame. That stuff is poison. I was such a huge Diet Coke addict until last year, and then I quit cold turkey and haven't had any since. I occasionally have Splenda now, but not since starting this protocol, so I'm happy with myself. Maybe it won't help the weight loss to avoid it, but I just want to get that crap out of my system for good. I have fibromyalgia, and I swear Aspartame is a huge reason.

Fiesty, hang in there. You're losses will pick up!! I agree with MJDenver, that if you can force down some pure water, you will loose more~! I've heard so many people say, this works for everyone! Stick to it and you'll see results. Good work so far!

Hi mjdenver- thanks for your thoughts on the tea, I will strive to drink less of the tea and more water to equal my gallon of fluid a day. I am so used to diet coke or pepsi and I have cut that out, I felt a change to tea with stevia was at least better! Good luck on your diet with your hubby, I want this so bad and have not put a wrong thing in my mouth this whole time I just feel a lil disappointed. The stress came up Thursday with a daughter arrested and in jail, just was wondering if that could have been the stall. Trust me I wanted to go out and drink away that problem even if it was only for the night! LOL. WATER it is!

Oh, yes. Stress will do weird things to the body. It ramps up the adrenalin and it's very similar to a starvation mode thing. Your body says, must conserve energy so i can run away from the T-REX!! You will have a harder time losing weight when you're stressed. Also increases Cortisol, which holds onto fat big time!

Thanks Strawberry for the words of encouragement- I also hear this works for everyone, so I'm sticking with it hoping it will start to shed off soon. Great job on the 7lbs in 4 days thats wonderful!

FIESTYSHELZ - I had a stall in my first round and I for sure believe it was stress. A very difficult situation with one of my kids. I have over 100lbs to loose so I was suprised by the stall so early on. Once things settled down my losses picked up again. I'm sorry to hear of your daughters troubles, it's so hard seeing our kids go through stuff.

Thanks Linda Lou for your response, I do hope the losses pick up hard to watch my friend drop 9 lbs and I drop 4.6 lbs with no change for 3 days! I'm gonna keep trekking through it, at least I know where she is and chose to do the tough love and let her stay in there. I'm looking forward to better numbers in the morning (fingers crossed perhaps eyes too!) I really enjoy reading everyones accomplishments and even hearing others having some of the same troubles as myself. What a great support group here. How much did you lose in your first round Linda Lou?

I lost 18lbs in my first round which was 26 days. At the end of my first week I had the stressful situation and then I ended the round just coming out of a TOM stall. Just be patient, stick to the protocol and watch your average daily loss should all work out in the end. I'm going to look back and see if you posted what you've been eating. Maybe there's something else causing the stall.

I hear ya about the tough love thing, it's sooooo hard to do but it is necessary for them and for our sanity too. Very emotional.
