    R1 P2 VLCD4 Down 7.1 total. Released .6 yesterday (Flu day). Not bad considering the massive amounts of drugs!!

    I'm starting the VLCD today. I gained 3lbs on my load days this time. I didn't gain anything last time but I don't feel like I loaded near as well this time.

    I spent all day Saturday (load day 1) making pomegranate jelly, 240 jars and every muscle in my body, expecially my calves hurts. Since the only thing I ate that's different than things I had on P4 were a some of the jelly and a white flour bun I'm assuming that much of the weight I gained is from water weight because of the muscle stress. Inflamation?

    Now to see how the Corion is going to compare to the hucog I used the last time. There were no clumps when I mixed, it disolved immediately.

    Linda Lou, what is the best way u have found seperating the membrane from the seeds? I heard under water. I would love a recipe if u don't mind. I am making Xmas gifts this year.

    Strawberry, way to go! You are doing fantastic.

    Today is VLCD#8 and I am down 12.6 from my first injection day. I checked back to my last round and I was down 13 lbs on my 8th day, so I am doing about the same.

    Did I tell everyone that I LOVE this protocal!!! :) Very difficult but very worth it!

    I think I just might start this Friday if I get things in the mail in time! I have the hcg, but waiting for syringes, needles etc...I'm getting excited to see the scale go down some more now! I think that's the main reason I don't want to wait till Turkey Day....however....I could probably load better on Thanksgiving. I had a hard time thinking of things to eat on my last load days. I know the suggestions, but when the day actually comes, I forget what I was going to do! lol....

    Congrats on everyone's progress! Can't wait to get back into it!

    Boy I am so mad at myself for cheating yesterday. Now I get to wait 3 days for it. All u guys are doing great!

    Hi all! I am on R1P2VLCD8, and I feel a bit bummed that I am not seeing these big numbers others are. I have been good on this diet without cheating (which is hard for me!) and I only have 4.8 lbs off. I weighed them same for day 5,6,7 only losing .2lb this morning to break the stall. I have a good 40-50lbs to lose so I guess I was expecting to see a little more off in the first week with it tapering off later. I am on a diuretc and a few other prescriptions meds, could it be the problem? Also could stress be a reason for a stall? I have been drinking the fluids, a gallon or damn nearly every day. Mind you I'm not a huge fan of water but getting most of it down in the form of tea. My friend is doing this with me and started at the same time, she has lost 9lbs on the same batch of HCG sq. The injections were prefilled for us and are filled to the 150cc mark. Congrats to you all with your great losses! Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I love this site and I find it very motivating to keep on going!

    Hey everyone! I've been reading the comments in this thread and thought I'd finally jump in! I get so involved reading that by the time it comes to add my comment, I have to get back to work! Haha!

    Today is R1P2VLCD9 for me (loaded 10/30 abd 10/31)- subQ 200iu Hucog. 10 days down, 30 more to go- 25% done! Never heard of HCG until about 3 weeks ago and I'm SO glad that I did! I have been a human yoyo with my weight for about the past 7-8 years. I've tried diets, consistent working out, seen nutritionists, personal trainers... spent WAY too much money on diet supplements and books... CRAZY. And now, with HCG, I'm down 9 lbs as of today (181.2 to 172.2)... although that includes a massive cheat on Friday. Hubby and I both had ridiculously stressful days and when he got home... well, it was a mutual decision to deviate for emotional reasons. We figured, better to get it out of our systems now then to let the thought and the cravings linger for the next month! We engorged ourselves on pizza, wings... ugghhh... amazingly, I was not able to eat NEARLY what I could have prior to this diet! The HCG REALLY does curb hunger for me! Pretty good thing considering it kept our cheat under control (or about as under control as a CHEAT can get). I gained back 5 lbs and everyone is soooo right, it took EXACTLY 3 days to get back to the pre-binge weight. If it weren't for that cheat, I'd probably be in the 160's club by now... but, live and learn. It won't happen again, that's for sure!

    Few updates and things that we've tried that have worked and haven't.... we are using the Walden Farms brand of products and love *some* of them. Others are... ehhhhh... but some are great (thousand island dressing, BBQ sauce)! Just gotta check out the ingredients before you buy to make sure there's nothing forbidden! I feel completely OK with using that even though it's Splenda... and here's my reasoning. It wasn't around when the protocol was developed and since saccharin (sweet n low) was approved, I figure artificial sweeteners were OK in his eyes as long as the product was 0 cal, 0 fat, 0 sugar. We've had days with and without the products and seem to lose the same either way. Granted, splenda still does not rate highly on the nutritional factor scale but hey, I'll take all the help I can get for the next 30 days! I've also been drinking Diet Coke... but I limit myself to 2 cans/day. Haven't seen a difference in losses with that either. Same philosophy applies there. Aspartame was not around in the 50's but falls into the same family as saccharin so I feel pretty safe. Plus, I've been drinking it for years so my body is pretty used to it.

    Other than that, loving my newly evolving shape and can't wait to see where my figure will end up! I have a whole stack of jeans just waiting to fit over my butt again!!! :) I hope to see the 150's before this 40 day round is over! I will probably do another short round at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb to get closer to my ultimate goal of 135. Might not quite make it but I'll be close!

    Sure wish we could post pics on this board!!! I'd love to put faces with names and post my progress pics!!! Oh well... :)

    Fiesty- I learned once from a nutritionist that you can't count tea, coffee, or other liquids as water. Water is water. When you add tea to the water, you create a dieuretic - which, as you know from your medications, actually makes the fluids go through your system FASTER whereas water HYDRATES and replenishes your body. My suggestion would be to challenge yourself to get that 100 ounces of water down- even for a day or two (add a little lemon, lime, or even a strawberry to add flavor) and see if there's a difference in your losses!!! :)
