weston- you can get a sterile vial, and shoot all your hcg in there- then re-calculate your dose and re-fill the syringes. how much volume of fluid is in your shots? if you're on 125 and hungry, i agree you should increase your dose. and yes, it will take 3 days for the new dose to fully get into your system.

Starving. spoke to med office again and told them that it is unbearable. They gave me permission to load up on as much lettuce as I wanted. I ate two whole bags. I laid down now to see if it will kick in.

Tomorrow they will put me on the HCG pill that is supposed to be a lot stronger than the injection, 'cause it needs to get through the membranes under the togue or something. Who knows!

I just hope that I don't gain weight for tomorrow by eating all this salad.

weston~ what are you eating too? I am curious because I had your problem my first round at a clinic but it was because they changed the program to make more money for themselves and I was sooo miserable. So, I am curious if what you are doing is exactly the Pounds and Inches protocol or is it tweeked a bit? If it is exactly then grammy is right on you need to up your dose or your HCG is no good and you need new hcg. If you up your dose it should take 1-2 days to kick in and notice a difference. Also, what did your load days look like? How much did you eat those days? I was told a better phrase for the load days is to gorge. So I keep that in mind when loading. I have NO hunger this round after loading right and following protocol exactly.

weston- i don't think it's an issue of the injections not working- i think you're on too lose a dose. they should try increasing your dose to 200 before changing methods. that's what the standard "acceptable" dose is for most docs.

Thanks for the help. Today is day 4 of VLCD. I believe I am doing the original diet with no changes. It is straight from the Pounds & Inches book.

Monday- 1/2 grapefruit, one breadstick, black coffee for breakfast; 1 can chicken with romain lettuce for lunch, apple with breadstick afternoon, and asparagus with tilapia for dinner.

Tuesday- all the same except dinner which was spinach with grilled chicken breast.

Wednesday- all the same except tuna for lunch instead of chicken.

That brings us to today. I had 1/2 grapefruit, breadstick, and coffee for breakfast, an apple with grilled chicken for lunch (ran out of veggies), late afternoon romaine lettuce, and I will have dinner tonight.

I called and I was told that I am doing everything correctly and that I should not break the diet. They said just to hold on a little bit more. They said that they rarely have people that have this problem and the clinic director told me that while she was on the diet she remembers having one day in the middle of the diet when she felt ravenous, but she never experience hunger otherwise.

I had a hard time loading only because I am not used to eating any "gorging" foods. I rarely eat very fatty foods because I have a sensitive stomach and I get sick easily. So, I had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit from Mcdonalds for breakfast (day 1), turkey and cheese sandwich with Doritos (which I never would eat), I ate close to half a pie with lots of ice cream, chips, and ten piece chicken nuggets for dinner.

Second day, I had two yogurts, more apple pie with ice cream (for breakfast), lots of steak, potato with sour cream (for dinner) and a double cheese, double turkey, double mayo sandwich with more Doritos for lunch.

That was more than I would ever eat and those foods were as drastic as I could think of eating.

Maybe I needed to eat more? I thought I did well by gaining almost 3 lbs on the first day.

    What do you think?
