    I am down 2 pounds from my original weight after Day 1 of VLCD. At times felt hungry yesterday, hoping today goes better. I am going to increase my drops by a few.

    shan- just remember that b-12 injections have to be done IM, not subq.

    Thanks for your guidance, Colleen. I really wasn't sure if there was a difference based on the form of hCG.

    Some say the immunity issues don't matter with sublingual, but Margie and I have talked about it and it has to be an issue or the stuff isn't being absorbed. It's still in the body. So I'm following Dr. S exactly even on sublingual this time!

    From a medical site, regarding b12 injections:

    "IM (intramuscular) injections are preferred over subcutaneous ones because the rate of uptake is superior (95% vs. 80% or less) and because the quantity of injected fluid is a bit high for the subcutaneous tissues to cope with."
