By the time folks reach P4, they're often feeling pretty confident and get back to life. That's good! the bad thing is that we miss them. :-( P4 is 3 weeks if you're going 6 weeks between rounds. If you're doing 8 weeks (between rounds 2 & 3) then it would be 5 weeks.

Then P4 is the rest of your life, Susie! It's where you eat anything you want but watch your weight and if you go OVER 2 pounds above your LIW, you do a steak day. Good for you!

Trader Joe's sells really good sprouted breads which is what Ezekiel bread is I like Trader Joes better, they have wheat, rye, some with cinnamon and raisins, and some others. It's less than $2.00 a loaf.

They also have some really good whole long grain rices, really good stuff. There's also good whole grain hot cereals out there that are good for you and a nice change from oatmeal.

I just made some waffles for breakfast
    eggs
    milk
    cinnamon
    nutmeg
little bit of coconut flour to make it heavier (I dont think this is necessary)
pour in waffle iron, then added butter and sugar-free maple syrup. Just like the real thing, only healthy and super filling!

Yes, as Colleen says, many who are on p4 stay for a short time and then leave...which is unfortunate because with them goes experience and the ability to not only answer the questions of the new folks, but also provide inspiration that this does work. Part of my skepticisim in the beginning was the fact that there were no people on here that were in p4 when I started my first p2. That is the reason I stick around. Also, to me, it's like going to an AA meeting...only for overeaters :))

Yesterday was day 1 on P4 and I had oatmeal for breakfast. This morning, down .2!! So I had another bowl this morning. I used my stevia Cinnamon flavored drops and the oatmeal kinda took away the bitter after taste. I don't like the after taste of stevia but I paid so much for them, I still keep trying to use them.

I would really like to try some re-fried beans. Anyone have any experience with them? I guess I just need to try them. Good luck to everyone this week where ever they are on their journey!

hey all...sorry kats/barb bout not being around much. It's like Colleen says, I think we finish and kinda go on with life. I try to check in once a week. I know I was really interested in people in P4 to see how it all plays out when I was doing the first couple phases, not many there except you Barb (thanks much). I am still doing well on day 33 and so happy with the protocol. Will be doing another round after holidays. I have encountered sooo many people now doing this. Only problem they don't follow it correctly...I feel so frustrated trying to explain the 'right' way to do this, but there is so much wrong info out there. Most don't want to do the work involved...always the quick-fix, cut corners way. I feel sad because they are going to gain the weight back, or mess up their bodies. Alot of young girls are doing this to lose 5 quick pounds. They don't stick with the minimum days of P2 and completely skip P3. Many look at me with confusion and wonder why I haven't put the weight back on because I do eat well...not salads and 'diet' food all the time. Try to explain you have to follow the protocol strictly for it to work right. It's just frustrating to me because I know it works and so many around me are failing and putting all the weight back on and then some. Good Luck to all.
