    WOW I'm jealous Shrinkingmama!
    Ok, so I gained .8, which put me right at 2lbs over LIW. SO yesterday did a high protein day but it backfired... yeah I think I ate too much... up 2.4 lbs this morning from yesterday though? CRAZY! Today I've had beef jerky... lotsa protein I see, and low low fat. I also had eggs with spinach and cheese. Hopefully I'm back down a bit tomorrow. STEAK DAY TOMORROW BABY! WTH... see I don't get how Friday I can be 138 and today I can be 141!

    Amy ~ I hear ya sista!!! I just don't see how it can chage sooo fast!! Watch out for that Jerky Turkey! It's EVIL!!!! LOTS and LOTS of SODIUM! I gained from that crap! Who'd a thunk!???? I added in some Laughing Cow light Garlic and Herb cheese yesterday...Never had it...It's AMAZING!!! But, I was up a little this morning. I am stressing and can't keep my hands out of the slivered almonds! Uuuggghhhh I also had a big salad last night with leafy lettuce, avacados, bacon, feta cheese and ranch dressing lol. It was really good (I hate salad) but that might be why I was up a little too. So, I think I'll make a mug cake now. I bought coconut flour yesterday. I want to see if it is lighter than the almond flour. Tomorrow is manic (travely) Monday...Uuuggghhhhhhh.

    Aw man, Amy...I thought it wasn't possible to have too much protein! Must've been the sodium in the jerky. I thought maybe my big dinner wouldn't show up till this morning, but the scale didn't budge an ounce. Trust me, I'm completely shocked!!

    Lisa...Almonds are wonderful!! I buy the dry roasted, lightly seasoned with sea salt in the big jar at Costco and keep it in my car! I always have a snack on hand and I don't usually gain from those. Love em! Your salad sounds great!! I had a bit of a big dinner tonight for my father in law's birthday...even ate a very small piece of choc cake. It's really hard sometimes to be good, eh?! I keep telling myself that I've been really good up to this point, so I deserve a bit of yummy stuff, right?

    I guess I'll see in the morning. I should be sleeping right now, but had a 3 hour nap this afternoon, so if the food doesn't make me gain, then the lack of sleep probably will! Oh well.....good luck girls!

    Well, I was up this morning. Kinda thought that might be the case! :( 1.6.....only .3 below LIW! I will do high protein today. I did have three rolls yesterday, with one of them being at 11pm, so I'm sure that's a big part....that and only getting 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night.

    Hope everyone else has a great weigh in this a.m.! I'm off to the gym!

    Weighed in at 131.6 on Saturday which was 1.6 over my LIW so I did a high protein day and that didn't help at all. Sunday I was 131.8. I drank a ton of water and the only difference was I didn't work out because it was my recovery day and I weighed in at 131 this morning. I even had some ezekiel bread. I think pre-exercise my body wanted to be 130.6 but since I have been working out it is a little bit higher.

    I will be moving to P4 on Thursday and I am stoked and scared at the same time. This is living a whole new life style now. The things I have learned is I need to make sure I eat plenty of protein especially after exercising. I need to be aware of eating fat, starches, sugars at the same meal. It seems like, depending on the person, it is a combination of 2 that leads to weight gain. And always drink plenty of water. I'll monitor my calorie intake too. I realize that calorie in and calorie out is important and the less processed the food the healthier.

    Sandy, don't be scared, you sound way more knowledgeable than I did going into P4!!! =)

    WELL! The beef jerky didn't hurt me. ;) I was down 3 lbs after the high protein day. I just don't get it!?!? I think I need more high protein today... because I'm .2 below my 2 lb ceiling today, HOWEVER, I'm lazy. Anyone feel me?

    Oh Amy. You are awesome. High protein days are hard for me to do to. It requires so much planning and cooking etc. It is usually those lazy days that I end up eating out. Being healthy requires so much energy sometimes.

    Monitoring my weight requires so much energy sometimes. I suspect that I am OCDish at times and I totally get obsessed with my weight and being worried about going over and doing a steak day. I think to myself "how could I go all day with out eating until dinner? My worst nightmare." Not really but I can be dramatic sometimes.

    OMG!!! You ate rolls??? There's NO way I would do that! I'm a chicken...bawk bawk!! I don't cheat and I'm on P4!! I still eat P3 food and Im happy about that lol! I commend your bravery!

    I have a bad feeling about tomorrow. I feel bloaty and fat again tonight! I don't think being a road warrir agrees with me! Sooo prob a protein day tomorrow, although I really try that everyday.

    Amy congrats on the jerky! It KILLED me! Uggghhhhhh jerky and cashews!!

    Lisa I suppose some of these things effect us differently!? I won't touch cashews lol!

    SANDY... if you can't do a steak day, throw some cheese & scrambled eggs in that day girl! I do just as well with a high protein day as I do a steak day, AND have a glass of red wine & still drop 2-3 lbs each time I do one!

    Speaking of high protein lol! AGAIN today... but I asked for it. Went to a birthday dinner at Ruby Tuesday, had a cupcake, salad, tortilla chips & spinach/artichoke dip. ;) Barley hit my ceiling but hit it. I just don't mind protein days at all!!! If this is what I have to do to keep the weight off, SO BE IT! I've already proved to myself that I can TOTALLY live without starch and sugar. It's just nice to have them every now & then. :)
