    Amy - I think you said you have the wii fit. Have you tried EA Active? Used it 1st time tonite...30 day challenge. It's a good workout!!

    Deb I sure hope so, but right now I'm weighing in at 7 lbs OVER where I thought I had stabilized!! I can tell some of it's water. I have edema in my legs, feet and fingers. I just can't see how I can lose 7 lbs of water in one night!!! There's no way I can do a steak day tomorrow either!!!!

    Maybe a diuretic????

    Lisa - girl get your HIGH PROTEIN on tomorrow. Seriously! I've gone up and down a good bit, but it's getting better... P4D10 here.... I don't think it's as hopeless as you are thinking, but deff get your protein on tomorrow!

    It's an additional program to use with or without the wii fit. I did it with....kick boxing, inline skating, squats, running (not all of that on the wii board). It was fun. My son also used it & liked it. He needs to trim off a few pounds too!! Best Buy had it for $50 a couple of wks ago...best price I had seen so far.

    Amy ~ I did high protein today!!! I can't afford to do steak tomorrow either!! This gets expensive!!! Plus, I'm staying with my parents through the week while I work ( until the peeps get moved outta my house there). They eat lunch at 3 pm and eat pie every night!!!! I eat the best I can but I'm having to eat out a lot! Not many good choices out there!

    I'm seriously frustrated!!!!! Maybe TOM is coming...?????? I've been sooo irregular with the protocol. Uuuuggghhhhhhhhhh

    Haven't posted here in a while- been in P3 lounge.

    Lisa- sorry you are having such a hard time. I totally understand! Hopefully things will level off and stabilize for you better.

    Amyleigh- it sounds like your body is starting to stabilize. If you can have pizza and not gain- that is a good thing!!

    I am on day 9 today of P3 and have had to cut out dairy and eggs because I kept going up, up, up. This AM I am within range- 1.4 above LIW. I'll have to figure out just what my body wants to eat and not gain and hopefully soon.
    Keep up the chat- all of the experiences really help to relate to and learn from!

    Have a few questions. I am on R1P3D15 and I haven't done a steak day yet my LIW was 130 and my weight has fluctuated from 129.4-131.6 for the past two weeks.

    I read somewhere on the forum that your body retains some water in the morning. Usually I wake up, go to the restroom and step on the scale and I was 132 which is exactly 2 pounds over my LIW. I was so disappointed because I work my guts out yesterday. I did a few jumping jacks and weighed and it was 131.8. I took a shower and started getting ready and weighed again and I was 131. That being said I usually take the first weight because I rarely weigh myself multiple times in the morning so could my weight have been lower this whole time?

    My other question is about exercise and protein drinks. I was 130.6 yesterday and I was hoping to go down from my workout. I upped my workout yesterday because I finally feel like my body can handle it. This workout is a lot lighter than I have done in the past when I was in great shape. I did 3 sets of 15 reps of leg press (90lbs weights), squats (20lb weights), 15 lunges/leg (20lbs), hamstring exercise on the ball and a little core. For cardio I did interval training (2 rounds) on the stairmaster for 20 minutes. And I usually alternate that workout with running 2-3 miles, strength training chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, lower back. So the only new thing I added yesterday was a protein drink from GNC (1/3 scoop) with 1/2 cup of whole milk. I was worried about not getting enough protein and I was hoping that the protein drink would help me recover.

    So I was hoping to firm up my flab with the exercise and hoping it would help me maintain. So am I retaining more water because I am working out harder? Did the protein drink make me gain? Should I stop the protein drink today and see if my weight goes back down and try it again? Is the exercising making my weight go up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I guess I just need some reassurance.

    Yes, a harder workout can make you retain water. Any exercise is a good thing. It looks like you're stablizing well. I wouldn't worry about it. Push the water like crazy today. I don't think you need to do a steak day. High protein and push the water like crazy. Try doing the protein with food. Not sure what's in those protein drink mixes..

    Linkan ~ I'm so sorry!!! It sucks sooo bad!!! I definately retained water last night. I was at 152.4 when I woke up. My set weight is 150.6. My. Feet, legs and fingers were swollen last night. I know one culprit was the beef jerky! Coming in at either 560 or 599 mgs Sodium!! I looked on the package today. I figure that rotesserie chicken had quite a bit in it, too.

    Today I had 1 piece of bacon and 2 eggs for bfast. Almonds for lunch and greek yogurt. Ribeye and salad for dinner. Tea and water. I have incredible leg cramps/pain tonight...uuuggggghhhh

    So, well see what tomorrow brings and fight the battle once again!!
