Good morning! Today is VLCD# 13 and I am down 1.2 lbs. I went camping this weekend and didn't weight on Sunday, so the 1.2 is for two days. Still pretty good! This makes a total loss of 16 lbs!!!
I pre-packaged all my meals before I went camping and it worked out real good. Nobody but my hubby knows that I am on this protacal and I thought it might be hard explaining why I wasn't eating. But I developed a heck of a head cold and used that as an excuse as to why I wasn't eating. I wasn't even tempted though. My hubby can't understand that! But you can do great things when you aren't hungry. That is what ruined all my past diets, I got hungry and broke them.
10 more days of injections. I hope I can loose 10 more lbs but I know this is when things start to slow down! Congrats to everyone on their losses and hang in there! It is soooo worth it.
psjack, 16lbs is great!! I have to ck my numbers again bcuz I switched scales twice in the first 2 wks but think I'm down 19 or 20 on vlcd 19. (think I put vlcd 18 a couple of days ago)
yeah! My scale finally moved, and I broke the dreaded 130's! Down to 129.8....but I will take it! I cut out all teas that were the boring orange pekeo, straight green or straight yerba mate, and haven't had the crackers in several days, this is day 18 so I am hopeful it will go down at least another two! I don't want my LIW any where near the old 130!
Some of my teas have things added...like citrus camoille, blueberry green, and although I was able to drink those the first week, I just don't know what caused the stall (could be the stress of my very loud children :-)) I was drinking a black tea that was called coconut chai, and although it was all spices Im hesitant now, I can wait a week. :-) The stevia is fine though.
I can't get enough of the apple in the microwave with cinnamon on it. Might be a long term keeper, same with the strawberries in the blender.
Hey guys! I just had to brag, lost another full pound this morning! Yeah, tomorrow is my LID so I am hoping for just the smallest bit more! I had the worse temptation in the world last night...movie popcorn, it smelt SOOOO good. I made it though...although I caved and had a piece of chewing gum to distract me (I haven't even had chewing gum so far). I am so proud of myself for making it through (well I am almost through) this whole thing without a single cheat!
today is vlcd #3 down another 2.2. gained too much on loading days so started at 225.8 now down to 220.0. Just keep on truckin tryin to see 200 even by this time next month. Might be a little too much to expect but a girl can hope!
woo hoo! officially down 20 lbs today (day 21) My hubby on vlcd 3 is down 5! We are so competitive! I know men lose it faster too...great :-( At least I have a head start!
VLCD 9 - down 10.6 lbs!! I have been trying hard to only measure myself once a week, since I know there won't be much change day to day, so I can't wait for Saturday to get here so I can see if I have lost any more inch-wise. I don't really see a difference just looking at myself 10 lbs lighter, but I know the inches are what counts most so hopefully I will have good news to report in a few days.
I keep forgetting to try that microwaved apple with cinnamon!! sounds SO good!! I just got the 101 recipes from another member of the forum and am excited to try some of them out and get a little more variety. What are your thoughts on tilapia? The instructions I got with my hcg don't list tilapia as one of the allowed fish choices, but I've seen elsewhere that it actually is allowed. The cod I tried was ok, but not fantastic.
Congrats everyone on being big losers! (love that show! it's so inspiring!) I am so envious and looking forward to the day that I too can say I'm almost done with the protocol and have lost upwards of 20 lbs!!
