I am in the last week of this incredible diet and to tell you the truth, while the results have been incredible (36 pounds after 34 injections), I cant wait to start the next round. This is my question. I spoke to my doctor who wants to put me on a 1500 cal maintenance diet for the next phase--with not as many options as I would like. Can someone let me know if this sounds normal, I've read various things in this forum. What about current weight x 11 for men. That would put my calories closer to 2500 a day. Any advice on the next phase would be appreciated

    Hi robertw1

This is Bob from When Health Matters, the online hCG weight loss clinic.

I have written a file that explains how to reintroduce foods and it takes you through each week.

Basically, 72 hours after your last injection you can start adding in foods again, just NO sugars or Starches for 3 weeks. And don’t go from a 500 calories diet one day to 2500 calories the next, work your way up to it.

Also, for men the X factor is 12 (women it is 11). So 12 times you currant weight is the Max calories you should have.

Different Doctors and Different Clinics that are not doing the True Dr S protocol will have their own take on things, so you will get conflicting ideas as to what to do.

    Bob

Hi robertw1 this is my first time on the forum, I was wondering what weight did you start with. I'm on day 30 and I've lost a total of 20 lbs, due to women issues I have only been HCG 15 day. So i'm a little disappointed.

I'm totally agree with therobesons, in my opinion the best way is don't pay attention to anything around the diet hcg, only follow the Dr. SImeons Rules, for all the people and including many Drs. this is unhealthy diet, but, every day say the same, I'm felling totally great!!!, this is the reason I'm totally agree with Dr. Simeons, my buddy is my Doctor number 1!!!!! Excuse my english, my language are spanish.

Rent, I'm guessing Robert isn't still hanging around. That original post was from last Feb. I haven't seen him around on the forum at all since April. And Robert is a man so he loses better. You've lost VERY well to have dropped 20 pounds in 30 days.

I'm sure that the way Bob does P3 works fine for him but I don't fully agree with him. I don't think you should be concerned with calories at all, especially by only upping calories to 800-1000 for the first week. I also think it's important to keep your protein intake high. It's hard to eat for the first few days to week and your body will tell you when to slow down.

He says he stops his fruit and bread stick the first week. No bread stick is allowed on P3 so you can't have that until P4 if you even would want to, and continuing with the apple or grapefruit is a good thing to do.

Why would you add a small breakfast? Makes no sense to me at all.

Dr. S said to eat what you want except for sugars and starches. He said nothing about only going up a few hundred calories the first week. I do think we need to introduce foods that people are commonly either allergic or sensitive to slowly but this idea to watch our calorie intake is not a good idea IMHO.

The people I see have the hardest time are those who are afraid to eat and keep their protein and calorie intake low.

I'm sorry you were misled, rent! women don't lose a pound a day, doggone it. :-( The most I've ever heard of a women losing in a 6 week round was 30-34 pounds. And even that is rare. Praying for you! I know what you mean about travel. I have a ton of writers conferences to speak at in the new year and had a crazy time figuring out when I could do my final round. but you can do it!
