I dont know how you could drink more water than you have to...there are times that I think i am going to be sick if I drink any more...but from what I understand the more you can drink the better!

No you CAN drink too much. We had a gal on this very forum who nearly died from drinking too much water. Dr. S only recommends 2 liters. I usually drink 100 oz or so myself but you can definitely drink too much. Scary.

I ordered HHCG Mediral from NYC Josh on Ebay and was always hungry. Went through 3 bottles without really being able to control my hunger and actually gained weight. I'm VLCD1 today (after 2 days of loading) and the difference is night and day. I'm not hungry at all. I'm not sure if I will feel better or worse today, but I've never felt better.

There is a thread somewhere saying that NYC Josh was not selling the real stuff. All I can say is I could not/ was not able to control my hunger till I switch the the shots.

Colleen, thanks for correcting me on the water...you're right that is scary. I never can get all my water down, so I guess for me it is hard to imagine getting too much....thanks fro keeping an eye on things here and helping keep us straight! Sorry ZJ, didnt mean to give bad info.

Not a great day, but at least no gain! Guess I will hold strong and see how today goes. VLCD9, 10.2 total (6.6 before load)

Hope everyone has a great day!

It's not just you who thought that--I thought you couldn't drink too much water either, zip! We'd been pushing water on this forum for months. We sure found out differently! That was a scary week, let me tell you. I'm much more cautious about it now.

Does too much water cause the light headedness?
  3.  # 1728permalink
It can. And weakness. That's what she was complaining of and we were trying to help her. The lightbulb went off when she told us how much water she was drinking. She cut back but was still super sick and finally went to the emergency room where the doctor had a fit about her condition. So when I hear someone complaining of weakness, I check on water intake now.

Yesterday was the first day I felt really crappy - really light headed and weak. I talked to a nutritionist who is the person who told me about the diet and told her how unbelievably thirsty I was and how much water I was drinking. The first thing she said was that for some reason my body wasnt using the water and thats why I was soooo thirsty. She asked me about salt - I really dont use any and since we are basically not eating anything premade that has extra sodium she thought that was it. I loaded up on sodium yesterday (for me) had some broth (I know not on protocol) 1/2 tsp liquid aminos and cottage cheese and today I'm up an 1/8 of a pound (first gain :( . It will be interesting to see how I feel today and if I'm still as thirsty

How much water are you drinking, Z? The gain might be the cottage cheese. It makes many of us gain or stall. Which is probably why Dr. S only allowed it on occasion.
