trhops - everyone is different & so they are affected differently! But still 17.1 lbs in 29 days is great!!! I certainly wouldn't consider that slow look how long it takes people on regular diets to lose that :o)

Lucky - sounds like part of your problem between rounds is not keeping up with your discipline! I would maybe up your protein today & tomorrow & don't add any P3 foods & see if it helps! Also, have you had a bm lately? I know that affects me A LOT!! I started adding more protein after about 36 to 40 something hours before I started adding P3 foods in! Your going to need to be really disciplined during P3 & give your body that total time to readjust! Sounds like you get a little binge crazy once off P2! Good luck! I'm kinda curious to see what others have to say about this!

I have done the homeopathic for all my rounds and my average has been about 0.5 per day for all of them. This might be a little less than the pharmacy grade users, but most of the forum messages I have read give the average weight loss for woman at about 0.5 per day. My DH did the last round with me, also homeopathic, and lost 38 lbs in 42 days. Men have it easier. *dratit!*
My consensus, is the hhcg does work, if a little less effective than injections, it is very marginally less! And where I live in Canada, it's much easier to get the hhcg than the pharma grade.

Well I'm on my last day of P2, this is day three of no drops and we still aren't experiencing much hunger, though our subconcious collectively seem to know we're verging on more food and have been trying to get us to eat forbidden things. Hubby actually had a piece of candy all the way unwrapped and inches from his mouth while talking to me yesterday before he realized what he was doing. (We give them out with orders for our mail-order business, so not snacking on them ourselves the first week of the diet was haaaaard.) I've been just feeling snackish, for no reason.

My weight has inched up a bit during these no drop days though, by 1.5 pounds. Some of that may be trouble with slow intestines again, and some of it may be an inadvertant cheat the other day. I had just a tiny stub of chicken no more than 25-30 grams left over from cutting up chicken breasts the other day and I fully intended to cook it with our meal and give it to the four little feline beggars in our house.. but somehow, I forgot about it, and it got mixed in with the rest. I'm pretty sure it was MY plate it landed on and got eaten. I was up a full pound the next day if you can believe it. I hope my first day out of the chute isn't a steak day! I so want a piece of cheese!

Hubby on the other hand, has inched back down just past his lowest on diet+drops weight. He's now at 296.5, which is what he weighed at the end of when he did simple a no sugar/soda/candy self-diet last year. That's 34.5 pounds he's down from the start! I just can't believe how easily his body drops it. No arguments, no persuading. He just says hey could we be lighter and it rolls over and says SURE!

Anyway, I guess it's about time for me to wander over to the P3 lounge and see what everyone's up to. Thanks for all the assistance on this and the pep talks, I know I'll see some of you there :)

Congratulations Gettingmarried! Those are some wonderful losses! Bet you will look radiant in your wedding dress!

so should I quit at 34 lbs total or 34 pounds on the VLCD?
  5.  # 1548permalink
34 pounds on the HCG. If you have a lot of weight to lose, Dr. S allows 4-5 pounds more but then that's totally it for the round. Then you take off your 6 weeks and can go another 34 pounds. :-)
