Guys I have one question, I am now on p3 and I am aware I can eat nuts now, so I made my own trail mix with some nuts and raisins (no other dried friuts), I ATE ABOUT 1 WHOLE CUP OF THIS STUFF FOR LUNCH! and I'm wondering if I overdid myself, I only had trail mix for lunch since I really wasn't in the mood for meat, can anyone tell me if that was ok? -

Only the scale can tell you in the morning. LOL I'm fine with most nuts but cashews make me gain right away. Everyone is different though.

thanks evryone for the encouraging words. I feel so vulnerable now. Ive started and stopped so many diets I really want to make it through this. I cant watch tv all I want is pizza. cant go to mall ill want popcorn.....im an food addict and didnt realize it :(
oh well I look forward to going to sleep and hopefully the scale keeps me motivated through the weekend -
Hi All I just got my drops today i am anxious to start but a little scared as well but I need to get rid of this extra 42lbs that i have gained since i got hurt last year. I had back surgery in june 08 then a spinal cord stimulator implanted sept 09. alot of steroids and not being able to do anything but geesh i could sure eat with no problem. well now that has to come to an end. I am glad you all are here doesnt make any one feel like they are alone in this. Thank You in advance for being here.

Hi Shells! Welcome to our group! I'm sure you'll find everyone here is friendly and wishing for your success! Steroids will do it everytime. They really stimulate the appetite, so don't be so hard on yourself. You will be a sucess on this diet. It'll force your body to access all those fat storage areas.
I'm on my very first day of 500 calories, so I'm a little hungry, but I am sooooo determined! I'm hoping to lose 30 lbs with this 42 day round, but I have a lot more to loose than you too. maybe i shouldn't be so optimistic, but hey I'll be happy with 25 too!
Make sure you read Pounds and Inches by Dr. Simeons !! What he says really makes sense. good luck! -

Ericca-HAppy New Year to you. I believe that you need to relax, and enjoy yourself for your bday. I have two little ones also, and what I wouldn't give for a clean, silent, empty HOUSE! Make YOU a priority and not the bad intentions of friends. You only get one birthday a year. Celebrate the way you want, and you will find that you will look forward to it every year.
SANDS-I am about to start my VLCD tomorrow, we are so close in days...it is going to be hard, not so much the eating or anything else, but the emotional attatchment to food. Your co workers are just trying to sabatoge you. YOU GO GRRRL! We are in this together, and you will succeed!

I can't remember who...but someone mentioned nausea...I felt like that all day yesterday, like I was pregnant again. It was my very first day on the drops, so who knows?

Michele - I hope the scale is good to you & your nuts in the morning :o) it actually sounded yummy to me!! I can't wait for P3 I am already starting to plan what I will eat the first day. I don't want to overdo it, but it will be soooo nice to have a little more variety & bigger portions!
Ok everyone this is kinda a moot question but I couldn't find it in the original protocol but it only says we can have chicken it doesn't say it has to be boneless skinless chicken breast (unless I can't read lol) I was just kinda wondering about it when I was at the grocery store buying some today :/ would be nice to spice it up a little with some dark meat. But then again I am so close to P3 now....what do you guys all think?
Also, I swear my drops have lost their potentcy!!! For the past 2 days or so I have been hungry more than usual :o( usually it doesn't bother me but man I have been HUNGRY!!! I opened these drops I think last week sometime & I keep them in a dark cabinet? So I took my unopened bottle & the open one into the fridge. I really didn't want to open the new one until I had to, but I may have to. My bottles seem to lose their potentcy after only a week or so.
Also, I did add a thread about AVON's mineral makeup I hope it was ok :/ -

Here you go:
100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.
It's the chicken breast must be removed from the bird part.
Try upping your dose, nut.

LOL thanks Colleen I guess I really can't read today LOL I knew I thought I had read that when I originally started reading the protocol. Too much going on right now I think :/ my does is at 20 right now I think I may up it to 25. If I go to 23 days I only have 4 more days left of the drops!! I was shooting for 30 days but was going to start playing it day by day after day 23 to see if I am still losing at least .2 - .4 per day. If I start to stall my plan was to stop & move on to P3. I'm going to up my dose tomorrow & see if it helps. If not I will open the last bottle. Thanks for reading for me LOL
