Sugar free pudding has starch in it and all that sugar free stuff is evil. It is often really mean to people in P3. :-( If you keep going up, it's likely a food intolerance, Tina. Try cutting out the cheese if you go up tomorrow and see how your weight does. If it goes back down, wait until you are at you LIW and try the cheese again and see if it does the same thing.

WOW...worksleepwork....your numbers are amazing!!! That must feel wonderful. I agree with debkru, go get a few new items, like jeans and couple shirts that really show off how much you have lost. Then donate them!! It is amazing how a well fit shirt can lift your spirits and give you what you need to keep going. I am now at 273, which seems to be where you started and I just lost 29 lbs. I lost 15 in the spring before, so 44 lbs., and people are just starting to notice. I got some new knit shirts and the complements are rolling in, making me feel like I could keep going. You are many steps ahead of me, but you have given me a good bit of hope for my future. Thanks!!! It is also very nice to know that inches come off without the scale moving and what a difference inches are making for you. Congratulations....you did great

Also, thank you grammy1952 for the advice on sugar free stuff...I am going to avoid that for quite a while. Last night I had 2 small bites of sugar free vanilla pudding, and maybe that hurt me or maybe not. Anyway, I knew that some had said that I will put on the few pounds I lost after I stopped the hcg for those 3 days, but I didn't expect a 2lb gain. I am thinking that is normal though...am I write in that...I am very scared of gaining again tomorrow. I want to keep those calories up, but I am just not that hungry and don't feel like I want to eat half the time. Thanks for all your wonderful input here and on other sites...Tina

2 pounds is too much in one day, nolt. :-( Probably the pudding--it has STARCH in it, doggone it. And all those bad chemicals. Up the water and keep your protein up.

Well I gained another pound this morning. That is 3 pounds in two days. Yesterday, I ate perfect. I know this is weird to say, but I have not pooped in like 4 days could be longer. I am hoping that maybe if that was to happen I would see a loss of a pound of two, I don't know. I am so upset right now. I have a half pound to go until I am over the mark and have to have a steak day. I just am so ticked that I am there already. Is this normal. I am only eating meats and cheeses with a nice big salad with blue cheese, some mushrooms and lots of water. What in the world is going on here...I just want to go back to p2...how long do I absolutely have to stay on p3? I did have about 6 almonds yesterday...could that be doing this? It seems like anything I am now allowed to eat is off the table. The cheese is what is making this phase exciting, but if that is not okay for me, then all that is left is meat. I did eat around 7;30 last night and it was a 14 oz steak with a big salad and mushrooms....I thought that was okay, is the timing okay too? I don't know. If I do an exercise video does that shed some of these pounds? How do I keep my calories up, but not gain? I know I sound upset here and that I am asking a ton of questions, but I am feel like crying again. This diet is very much an up and down rollercoaster for me.

Sorry, another thing. Even though I am technically only about 1/3 of a pound away from going over the 2lbs gain mark, should I do a steak day today?

Cut out the dairy, Tina. I bet that's the problem since you're eating cheeses and blue cheese. Try cutting those out and see if your weight drops back down. If it does, wait a week and try the cheese again. Or try goat cheese and see if it's okay. So sorry! P3 can be a bit of a roller coaster, especially early on!

Thank you grammy....I am thinking of doing an all protein day with a steak and apple in there too. I have read tons of discussions this morning and trying to piece it together. I agree that I think I over dosed on the cheese. I am going to do plain scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast, chicken meat for lunch and steak and apple for dinner...oh yeah and lots and lots and lots of water and green tea. I am hoping to get back to at least the liw with this. Thank you for responding so quickly!!!! One quick question again...can we drink diet tea in p3, or that too much artificial sweetner and it might mess things up..
