Great news...I lost another pound this morning. I think I am back on track finally, and I am still hoping that yesterday was not a problem. I don't think it was if I still lost a pound. Anyway, I am going to go as far as I can on this round. Tomorrow would be day 23 so I will take it a day at a time. It is too hard to think about quitting when I just now got over that hump and I in the 270's now....YEAH!!!

    nolt4-
Don't worry about that chicken fat on your hands. As long as you washed when you were done, it should be ok. The oil and grease on your skin that the dr. was referring to is when it stays on your skin all day, like lotions and moisturizers.
Plain cooked chicken is on the protocol, so as long as you didn't go over the 100 grams, you should be ok there too.

Good for you for being so strong. I know first hand how difficult it is and not many people can pass that test. Good for you.

What a great job! And congrats for staying strong!! Getting into the 270's had to have felt really good...keep letting us know how you're doing. And definitely measure so that you can see how fantastic those results are! They say you generally lose an inch for every pound...gotta love that!!!!!

Hi Ladies....there is a really good chance that I may start the 3 day process of going off the hcg. I am now at a total of 24 lbs off, and the last 3 days has been a pound each day. I am fine going further, but I do have somethings starting up this weekend that would be so much better with phase 3. However, If I do lose another pound tomorrow morning, I probably will keep going...anyway, I have a question. When I go into p3, how do I ease myself into this to stabalize better. I have read about eating a lot of protein throughout the day, but am I to avoid somethings at the beginning of that phase to get a better outcome. I was wondering if I can start the day with an omelet or do I need to stick to just the meats I have been allowed and slowly add other meats in after a day or two. I thought that you eat fats again, but that include the first day? Anyway, I thought I would get myself thinking about it in case tomorrow morning shows no lose even though my eating and drinking has been awesome...we will see. I still have not measured, but maybe tonight.....

tina- there are multiple posts on this if you search the P3 information. here's one: http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgvanillaforum/discussion/2951/newcomer-information-phase-3/

at the beginning, i'd at least avoid sugar-free stuff, and I'd be a little careful with how much fat you eat. dr. s. says "somewhat more liberally" than in P2. if you start P3 at the 72 hr point, i'd avoid them for the first 24 hrs.

Hello again. Thank you mgsondance for guiding me to other posts. I have been learning a lot. Tomorrow is my last day at the 500 calories and then I start day 1 of P3. Weird how I am not hungry without the HCG> I know it is still in my system, but I thought for sure today I would experience some major hunger. Anyway, I did lose another pound plus this morning, Is that normal? I am very nervous to start eating again, but the other posts are so helpful and informative to me. I understand that I need to be prepared to eat lots of protein, so I am going to try and stock up for that. I also understand that eating no fruits is suggested for a few days...Does that include the apples and grapefruits that I have been eating? I was just wondering that as well, and did not see it listed anywhere. It is very hard to adjust my thinking again. One more question...The weight that I am only allowed to go 2 lbs over is that the weight of morining of my last day taking the hcg, or that the morning of day 3 after I stopped the hcg? I get confused b/c I do it sublingually and not sure... Anyway, how is everybody doing? It seems like I have hit a boost in losing weight this past week and a half and it has been hard to consider stopping before the 43 days, but some stuff is coming up I need some freedom for in my eating. As of this morning, I am down 29 lbs in 30 days. I am wondering if I can still lose on P3 even if I am eating my 2700 calories. I somebody shared that they still lost inches, so I am wondering if that will happen. Either way, I am feeling so blessed right now, and still looking forward to the break...Looking forward to talking to you all again!!

tina- it's very normal to lose during those last 3 days, and then you generally gain a bit back when you start P3. i always continue my fruits- at least the P2 ones to start. the weight you use is your liw- last injection weight- the weight you are the morning of your last day on hcg. so those pounds you lose during the last 3 vlcd's gives you a little more cushion. don't count your calories or try to get in a certain amount- just eat what you want to and watch your weight.

I've always eaten my fruit too. I find I stabilize better with it.

Hello...I am on day 2 of P3, I gained 2 lbs and am now up a little bit over my liw. I am hoping I hold steady hear. It is hard to get in a lot of calories without starch and sugar. I am eating good, but sometimes I feel scared of messing it all up with the fats and stuff. I am eating omelets, sausage, tomatoe cheddar soups, cheese, a big stead, and big salads with blue cheese dressing. I felt full and good, but that 2 lbs gain scares me that I will see that again tomorrow. Anyway, I am wondering about Artificial sweetners for something like sugar free pudding and sugar free cool whip. I am so craving that and some people are saying it is okay and others are saying no...not sure, what are your thoughts. I also want to make that mug cake, but need to find almond flour, so that is my next thing to get...thanks again for all your help and pointing me in the right directions.. How are you all doing and where are you all at in your cycles?
