Barb - thanks for the advice on make- up. Silly question - can one buy mineral make-up at places like Walgreens, Target, Wal-mart. etc.?

Carole: I am too sorry you thought your comments are overlooked. I know for myself, I rarely respond except to congratulate successes, because I for one don't feel qualified to answer many of them since I am so new, and I would HATE to think I gave someone advice and they took it, and it was wrong! I read mostly and like the Round 1 thread.

Don't get discouraged, I think this is a great forum to connect at anytime of the day or night when you need to relate to others doing the same thing you are doing. I wish I could help you with your answer on your migrane - I am sure it is sucks; but I am not sure what to do.

    Hang in there!

    Glor

Thanks Glor....I did post some results yesterday, no big deal......I was just worried about what would happen if I didn't eat today d/t the nausea. Like I said, I wanted to make sure that I hadn't said anything wrong.

Carole, I am like Glor, on most things I do not feel I have the knowledge to advise someone. I am sure no one on this forum would intentionaly slight anyone. Everyone here is so helpful and caring. I think maybe sometimes when we are not feeling well we may feel left out, I know I have and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Hang in there, try to at least get some portein in if possible and let us know how you are in the morning.

Carole, I know my body doesn't react well with nausea....My last vlcd of R2, I got food poisoning....yep, sucked to be me!! I woke up sick as a dog and 4 pounds heavier the next morning...the following morning I gained an additional 2 pounds...and I hadn't eaten anything!!!!!!! So, the moral of the story :), don't get discouraged if you are up a bit tomorrow. Mine was all water weight and all came off in the following 2 days. try to get some protein in, and get your water in. But realize that your body is probably going to react to this migraine. What ever it does, it will be temporary...just keep telling yourself that!!

Let us know how you do on the scale tomorrow. And do you take any pain relievers that could help you get past the pain and nausea of this migraine? Barb

Carole, I just now saw your post, have been at work all day. A friend of mine, also on hcg, has had migranes for many years.... so was in much the same position as you when one popped up on her 10th day of vlcd. She didn't relate it to the hcg or vlcd either one...but just her usual trigger of history and stress. She too was unable to eat at all, really could not drink except for ice chips and not much of that. She did her usual route of dark room, quiet, and time~~ The next day she was back to normal with no further problems. Naturally she did have a weight loss that next morning, 2 pounds (is close to goal).

Margie, I would be really disappointed to see you leave the forum. I agree with all that our bodies have a mind of their own and that the only certainty is what we are in control of. We can eat and drink what and when we should... but beyond that, we have no control. I hope you will simply trust your body to do its best for your best interest and not put the hcg concept to the side. No matter what route you choose for food plan or exercise, you have been good for this forum and the forum has been good to you!

ALL of you are vital parts of this forum, it would not exist without you!!

I really hope you are feeling better, Carole and Margie!

carole, I'm the migraine queen. I just saw your post. Abrupt withdrawal of caffeine can cause a massive migraine. I will tell you though that I had a headache for three or four days when I started my first round. The thing would NOT go away. one thing I've discovered on my 30 plus years of searching for a migraine cure is that they are hormonally related. So it makes sense that HCG would cause some issues. I had daily migraines for decades and found the bioidentical hormone thread. It's been a new life for me. Amazing after all these years! You can read my story about finally getting relief on my website: www.colleencoble.com Under extras at the top there is a link that says migraine.

But you sure didn't offend anyone. sometimes we miss something. So sorry, hon! Don't leave us!

Carole, I agree with colleen....make sure you are getting enough caffeine if you have been a daily user of it in the past. i know I increased my intake when I started the protocol because I quit drinking diet coke. I was just posting on another thread about this same issue.

Have a good nap and come back and visit later if you are feeling better. Take care...:)) Barb
