dtwboy- i drag a LOT while on P2- have to get nutritional iv's (but i'm also on disability for chronic fatigue syndrome). sucralose is splenda- and since it is relatively new, we don't know whether or not Dr. S. would have allowed it.

i gained weight on crystal light, but i'm guessing it was water retention due to the sodium. that would be temporary, BUT your body doesn't lose weight as well when it's retaining water.

i'd try it and see what happens- just drink a bit of extra water. certainly the 4 calories are not a long-term problem.

this last round i used a fat-free, sugar-free dressing that had one carb and 5 calories per serving. although it did seem to make me retain water a bit, my loss average over the course of the round was no less than my first 2 rounds.

Just a thought, dtwboy, are you eating fresh raw vegetables? Especially if they are organic they should help boost energy. Coffee can give you a boost, but again can cause problems for some. and is a bit of a 'flase' high.

I'm wondering if liberated toxins could be making you lack energy? If latter is the case, then taking something like zeolite, or giving your self a coffee enema might help (I know, sounds disgusting but can make you feel heaps better, as it detoxes the liver.)

Yerba mate tea might help and I know Oolong tea helps me feel good.

Coffee, dtwboy! Coffee is always good, says Colleen the coffee addict. But i have no problem with energy on P2. I'm kind of missing P2, actually. You get addicted to watching that scale go down. Now on P3, it's boring. :-(

    Hi
On P2, just feel tired and drained in the mornings. I have been drinking lots of water and following the diet. I take a multi vitamen, B12 and B Complex. I have googled energy supplements and the HCG diet. Seems that some people are using Acai and even diet pills. I was going to try Metabolife "Extreme Energy". Any ideas?
    thanks

Are you eating an apple or anything in the morning?

When the body is releasing toxins which are also stored in the fat being released, some people tend to have a little less energy. I use the Yerba Mate and green teas...sometimes coffee. I feel I have good energy.
