It is unfortunate that our old thread was closed, but that doesn't mean we can't still share or journeys, if you were a part of newbies with 100+ lbs to lose or just want to be part of a group of people supporting each other then share your story here. Im on day 23 and this morning I was down .6!!! 20 days to go (per my protocol of course). I was told to 40 days, then 3 weeks, then a 3 week break, then start over. Im excited to see this weight coming off. I now have just under 100 to loose. =) Hope you are haveing a great day 21!!
Whoo!! Nice!! I'm doing 40 days also. I think I'm doing 40 p2, then 3 weeks of p3 then right back to p2. This is what my doc says I should do anyway. He said I don't have to do the p4 just get right back into p2. IDK maybe p4 is a good thing, I just think if i get a taste of junk I'll just fall right back into my old habits. I would really like to hit 40 lbs loss in this 40 days and 40 in the next 40 days but I'm not sure it will happen that way. losses are slowing and I think that its normal.

VLCD day 3 is kicking my butt... such a bad headache!!!! All I'm thinking about is Pizza Hut Wing Wednesday... but I know that the hcg stays in my system for a couple days...so I couldn't eat them today anyway without undoing everything I've currently done... So, even though I'm not pumped about staying on, I know I have to...and I hope this headache goes away by the end of the week...
I have been dealing with the headaches too! The first week they were bad, but I think last week they were worse for me. for 3 days I woke up with HORRIBLE headache...migraine style. I take excederine migraine and that wipes them out! you may try that!
As far as the wings go.....ITS NOT WORTH IT!Don't give in! Keep your chin up and keep on going! It will get easier I promise!!

I am on VLCD 9 and am down 8.8 (6.9 prior to loading) pounds which I had a cheat last weekend and gained 2 poundsI'm happy with my losses but am worried as I saw my biggest loss this morning of -3.1 pounds
Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but I worry that I'll gain tomorrow. I'm so used to if I am down one day, I gain the next - that's just the story of my weight loss life

Oh man ladies (and any gents that might be reading), Tonight, my first night of vlcd is going tough. I'm starving. I Have an apple left, I hope that will help. My steak was sooo good but kinda little and I had steamed cucumbers with LOTS of seasoning because I hate the taste... I wish there were other squashes we could have. I really hope I have a loss tomorrow. I need some motivation that it will work. I was asking my hubby if it was even worth it tonight, complaining about how I just LOOOOVE food... He helped keep me on protocol by threatening to drench everything I couldn't eat in hot sauceI hope you are all having a better night than me... at least I've got my humor... and an apple.... yay apple...
The first week is going to be tough as far as hunger goes and wanting to eat other things. But it DOES get better! And when you get on the scale tomorrow you will feel alot better about it! Just keep it up and you will have great losses!! You can do it!The big losses in the first week totally kept me going and I hope you have the same results!
