Good evening! I am going to bed early tonight. I didn't sleep enough last night and my weight was up a bit this morning. I had a frustrating day that started with taking a carload of recyclables to the dump only to find the recycle dumpsters not there. I'll have to go back tomorrow. And ending with losing my car keys somewhere in Costco. I thought I locked them in my car and called DH to come open it. I was waiting by my car when a man came by and told me he found them and turned them in to the girl at the door (I had already gone in to check at the service desk). Whew! DH was glad when I called him. Fortunately he had only gone a few miles (of the 40 mile trip to Costco). Actually, I'm going to watch "The Doctors" Dr Travis (yummy) teaching his secrets for getting rid of your gut for good. I'll report about it tomorrow...

glad to see everyone's posts today!
I am -0.6 today and i've decided today was my last injection for this round. I had planned to go to the 7th but i am experiencing immunity (hunger!) i forgot to skip a day the first two weeks. I am ok with it becuase i've lost 17 pounds in 32 days, gotten my BMI out of the obese range and lost quite a few inches (-2 more off my waste). This is a success! I am 15 pounds from my goal weight, which is perfect for a round 3 at Easter time.
How many of you have lowered your goal weight? I originally thought 140 would be it for me but i am thinking 135 might be where i need to be to get RID of this nasty back fat!
Hey Everyone! It has been a doozie of a day and I am ready to give up this round. Don't get the wrong idea. I am just about out of drops and craving protein really badly. Rob is going to start his 3 days w/o HCG tomorrow so that I can continue for a few more days. I originally only planned a 23 day round. But it was harder to get in the head game for this round and when I finally got into it I was running out of drops. Even cutting my dose to less than half only got me this far, about 30 days. Anyway, I don't have enough for my goal of Feb 8th. I also got out of hand today munching on things I shouldn't. I have to confess........ because it is good for the soul........ I went to Dairy Queen and had a no sugar added Dilly bar. Didn't really want it, but couldn't allow myself the Burger I really craved! I was not going to confess, but wanted to admit that even a great day before wasn't enough to keep my self under control. So, I will get up tomorrow and start again. Yes, I will put down how much I gained........... Poo!
I have some ideas to share about going into P3 with those of you who are new to this and those who have almost gotten to goal with one round. But that will have to wait for tomorrow. We had a great day together sharing good news and evaluating goals. This is what makes a forum so helpful. Thank you all for every word you share.
Good night.........

Well, I am jealous of your P3. I am going to keep on until the 6th will be my last shot. That'll be 35 days of injections. I too have slowed down to practially losing nothing but I will stay on because this is definately my last round. After 3, I just can't do this again. believe it or not, I am actually down a pound to 133!! Woohoo!!! And i workout out last night too! Maybe I WILL see the 120's, but I doubt I'll stabilize there. I usually stabilize about 2 or 3 pounds above LIW. I have actually raised my goal weight by about 5 pounds because I just can't seem to get any lower. I would have LIKED to have lowered it by a couple pounds to provide myself a cushion, but oh well. It is what it is!
Good luck to everyone on a day of good losses.
Good morning everyone! I am down 1.2 this morning (that BM I was waiting for showed up) bringing my total to 27.2 lbs lost in 30 VLCD days, 16 more days to go until I get to eat P3 style!
Moonbeam - I also was not going to confess my sin last weekend but decided that hiding is what I had done in the past. Hiding food all over the damn house and eating it when I know I wouldn't get caught. It's time to come out of the closet so I decided I had to. It felt awful but really helps towards making progress within yourself to make the life changes that are needed to keep this going. Congrats!
Anyway ladies, I have the day off today and my bug is sleeping at Grandma's house, so I am going to enjoy a loooooong shower with no interuptions and get some groceries before I pick him up. It's a balmy 5 degrees celcius here (for those of you who have an idea of Canadian weather, we feel like we are in the tropics in February) so we're gonna have a play date outside this afternoon
Have a good day everyone!
WOW!! Jendaenie, I can't believe it that you are going out when the weather is 5*! It is going to be 70 today here. Groundhog day and it is this warm. Quite the exception! I'm hoping we get snow this year and some good hard freezes to kill the fleas!! Yep, got a dog.
Anyway, I'm down today even after my out of bounds eating yesterday. How this is possible is unknown to me. I have kept up the ACV in my water for at least two liters a day, so maybe that is it. I put 1.5 TBS in my liter bottle with 8 drops of vanilla cream stevia. I like it! My pre HCG research into Metabolic Syndrome spoke to the value of vinegar in metabolism, so maybe this is an example. I will continue with it. This round has been hard but is not so bad to endure since my losses are almost as good as round one, except it is longer. Today is day #34 and I'm down 18.6 lbs! The forth week I lost 2.4 lbs, but can't get my signature to change even though I tried. I must be doing something wrong. So far this week, I'm down 2 lbs. I'm going to try to be good to the end and get under a total loss of 60 lbs since my commitment to loose, before starting HCG, when I was 268. I am proud and amazed. I never really thought it would happen to me! Thank God for HCG and this forum!!
Thoughts on HCG......... Going forth from P2 can present problems if we are not committed to the idea of the hypothalamus reset. No starch and no sugar is essential to that reset. Stabilizing must be our commitment all the way through P4. Then you can start again with a stabilized weight from your last round. Some have mentioned continuing to loose in P3. This is not advisable if you want to capitalize on the stability HCG offers. Continuing to loose will not stabilize the hypothalamus at this stage. Also, if carbs are casually introduced, even a little, it can cause you to have difficulty stabilizing. Stick to the protocol as closely as possible. You will find lots of fluctuations in P3 as you discover foods that you are sensitive to that will cause gain or bloating. Go slow, have double portions of P2 foods, add the cream in coffee, etc, but be careful. I will try this time to keep a journal of foods that I reintroduce. I want so badly to stabilize and even if you are at goal, if this is your first round, you might be tempted to treat this as any other diet. It is not. You can gain fast without knowing why if you aren't careful. Stabilize in P4 and then loose gain. Periodic "Steak Days" can help you loose after a few weeks of P4, as some have found. The 2 lb range is very reasonable for long term stability. Remember that Dr. S. says not to let ONE DAY pass before doing a steak day, and of course, assessing how the gain occurred. I found stabilizing fairly easy within those pounds. I was not over my LDW at the start of round two. In fact I lost 2 lbs during P4 without trying. I did gain during P4 this last time indulging in Christmas goodies. Boy am I sorry that those hard fought pounds had to be lost again in this round. I would have been further along by more than 2 lbs by now. I might have gone to Onderland this round.......
Thoughts on P3..... The great indulgence of P3 can be so delicious. Yet, I found it a temptation to get used to foods that are not reasonable to stabilize on. Heavy whipping cream can get you into trouble in P4, unless you will make a commitment to very low carbs. I thought I could go back to what the world considers "normal" carbs. Not so. I want to do the Leptin Reset, but am not going to jump into it until I understand it better. So, I am going to enjoy P3, but remember to take it easy because P4 is coming. Fluctuations are normal in P3 as you get to know your new chemistry. Keep good records, don't count calories or obsess over daily weights. Expect gains and losses within the two pounds. Drink your water always.
Planning........... During P2 it won't work without planning very well. Same goes for P3. Now you will be able to go out to eat at fast food places, but don't let the freedom lull you into carelessness. Plan to have food ready each week so that you aren't going to fast foods and little by little slip into bad habits. A cookie here, or a few fries or chips there, will catch up with you before you know what is happening. Protect what you have accomplished in P2. You will not have the HCG to help you anymore. Not for a while anyway. For those of you who might be thinking that you can take it up again, be aware that each time you take HCG it is less effective....... for the most part. Foods from home are the safest. You are the safest assurance that your successful weight loss in P2 will be kept forever in the past.
Good luck TEAM!! Let's make it a great day!

Having the hardest time since on this diet today! I regained 1.0 of the 1.2 loss yesterday while staying POP. So disappointing. I found myself sad and upset. I wanted to punish the diet by binging. Went to Walmart and almost bought a box of little debbie but barely didn't. Came home and ripped out the gummy bears from my daughters going potty candy. Swore I would eat a handful but ended up eating just one. Paniced and to stop the soon to be binge popped a SF piece of gum in my mouth. This is the first cheat I have had and so happy I stopped at one gummy bear. I am so upset with my gain. WHy? Why? Why? I want to Cry!!!

Why? Because you're human! It's probably just water or poop weight or something. I cannot believe you only ate 1 gummy bear after all that! Man, that took willpower. And what's with little debbie and gummy bears? If you're gonna dream, dream big, like steak, almonds, beer, etc. Just Kidding!,,,
I doubt you did any harm. Just keep on keeping on. I've had crummy losses, gains and stalls, but I look at it this way-only 1 more week then I 'm off to the land of cream and steak! When do you go into p3?
