  • HCG Diet Phase 3 Garden Herb Bread Recipe

    Garden Herb Bread Recipe

    2 1/2 cups of Almond Flour
    1 tablespoon of Baking Powder
    1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda
    1/2 teaspoon of Salt
    1/2 teaspoon of Minced Garlic
    1 teaspoon of Dried Parsley Flakes
    1 teaspoon of Basil
    1/2 teaspoon of Oregano
    1/2 teaspoon of Paprika
    1/2 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
    3 tablespoons of Canola Oil
    3 Whole Eggs
    1/4 cup of Water

    Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix until blended.

    Lightly grease loaf pan.

    Dump mixture into loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes, a toothpick inserted into the bread should come out clean.

    Keep in freezer for longer shelf life and thaw when ready to eat.

      YUM bread is good. i just made a turkey BLT with it soo good. id recommend baking it for about 50 minutes and adding more herbs... not quite herby enough for my tastes but its good!!

      got some in the oven now...

      It was very good. I had an avocado/lettuce/bacon/melted swiss sandwich with lemonaise and balsamic vinegar. But it still can't compare to my grandmother's bread recipe. It doesn't even make the house smell yummy! I don't think I will be able to give up white bread completely...

      I'll have to get up early and put some in the oven so when I come home for lunch I can make a delicious sandwich. The bacon, avocado sounds good I think I'll add tomato to it as well.

      Made it tonight, but can't try it until the morning because I'm doing a steak day. The baking powder has cornstarch in it, so is it a p3 recipee or p4? Tomorrow is my first day of p4, but wanted to keep eating p3 for a while! It smell so tempting!!!!!!

      so why almond flour - am curious? does it have less carbs or something. this recipe should work form my gluten free diet

      Only nut flours are allowed in P3. So that's why the recipe calls for almond flour. I'm eager to try this one!

      Has anyone tried to make this in a bread machine yet? I was wondering if it could be mixed up and baked in one. If so that would be very cool for me since we don't have baking pans yet. Long story...
